Scenes behind the Bard

"Why did you pick a Bard??" you may ask. WELL, here's my explanation:

I've recently starting reading Fantasy books again and have acquired some that when I read it, it feels like I'm reading a long D&D game story! Love it!

So far I've only gotten to the first Robert Jordan book, 'The Eye of the World.' In the story there's a Gleeman named Thom Merrilin who's a fantastic story-teller, plays the flute and harp, and juggles. He's a very entertaining character and he's the reason why I've decided to start looking at Bards.

"But why a GNOME Bard???"

Gnomes are tricksters and always happy in what they do. I'm still feeling out how I want my Bard's characteristics to be like, but so for he's a 'fresh-out-of-the-village' traveler who's only been away from home for about 2 years. Now 2 years isn't very long for a Gnome since they can live well into their 300's, so he's still very young.

I've never played a Bard and I love musicals and singing, so what the hell, I'll give this a shot!
